What is a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car?

About the Hydrogen Car:

Cars that use a Hydrogen Fuel Cell system emit only water. No smog!

The first fuel cell was built in 1843 and the first fuel cell car
was attempted in 1966, but only now are we starting to see them.

Did the oil companies stifle innovation of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles? Some say yes.

Or is it that only now we realize how important environmentally friendly transportation is.

Hydrogen-powered vehicles have long been a dream
for many, and now we are beginning to see some of the first examples rolling off the production line.

The 2008 Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell SUV (left) and the 2009 Honda FCX Clarity (right) are two of the first Hybrid Fuel Cell vehicles to come out, but only the Chevy Equinox has been released to the public. Apparently Honda is still refining their FCX Clarity.
